Umbrella Street has created and produced dozens of national ads for global brand Ask.com. We’re proud to have played a role in transforming Ask from an early-web search engine into a thriving SEO behmoth, eventually becoming Google’s biggest advertising partner. The pivot came when Ask deployed our campaign to help transform the company into the most trusted brand for answering questions. During our “Answers” campaign, Ask sky-rocketed from 60 million— to over 100 million users.
One of our creations included the cinema spot, “Hickey” for Ask’s national movie theater campaign in AMC & Regal Theaters.
We also created two memorable spots to help Ask capture TV viewers skipping over commercials.These spots ran during Law & Order and The Bachelor repectively.
As our campaign increased Ask’s profile as a trusted brand for answering questions, the company grew so fast we were forced to change the tag on our ads mid-campaign. These two spots show the progression:
